New build and refurbishment projects can utilise modern pumped screeds to create environmentally friendly, weight saving screeds with a reduced curing time. This is exemplified by the Isocrete Alpha Screed, which is an evolution of traditional anhydrite flowing screeds that is able to create a robust, laitance free layer at even the highest levels of the largest developments and all within a curing time of approximately two hours (compared to up to seven days for traditional semi-dry cementitious systems).
