Covid-19 Response - Delivery Update
We have been advised by our delivery companies that due to the rapidly evolving situation regarding COVID-19 and in relation to the health and wellbeing of their employees the following change will be made in accordance with Government advice, preventative guidance from Public Health England (PHE).
The instruction from the Association of Pallet Network (APN) is a revised process for signature capture. This will apply to all Electronic Devices, Printed Schedules and Customer Own Paperwork for ALL Pallet Networks. This change is being put into place to protect individuals and reduce direct contact.
Covid-19 Response – Supply Chain Impact
The current Covid-19 crisis is having a significant impact on the supply chains of many manufacturers, ours included. The wellbeing of our people, our suppliers and our customers is our priority.
Additional safety measures have been implemented in our business and our partners which means increased pressure throughout the whole supply chain. Countries are adopting tighter border controls; most companies have adopted safety protocols and more people are self-isolating. All of this is starting to impact on our ability to turn around product and orders within 24 hours.
Flowcrete Puts on a Flooring Masterclass at the University of the West of Scotland
The University of the West of Scotland’s (UWS) new £110 million Lanarkshire campus has installed floors from Flowcrete UK that convey the open, multifunctional and collaborative ethos of the site.
The new Lanarkshire facility, based in the Hamilton International Technology Park, was designed to be at the cutting edge of sustainability while creating a vibrant and contemporary venue for learning, research and innovation. Resin flooring manufacturer, Flowcrete UK, provided the university with colourful, fit for purpose surfaces that reflected the site’s energetic atmosphere.
Modern Flooring for Historic Spanish City
The historic Spanish City utilised flooring solutions from Flowcrete UK in its 2018 restoration project that saw its Edwardian features brought back to life.
Starting life in 1906 as a makeshift theatre with temporary stages painted like Spanish streets, the Whitley Park area was a place for William Simcocks’ North East Toreadors group to perform. With rising popularity, the area quickly became known as Spanish City.
